The cloud atlas for your storage

At CeMAT 2016 in Hannover, Swiss-based rocklog GmbH is showcasing PLANET-ROCKLOG, a cloud-based software package for logistics that has been designed primarily for warehouse management but also supports easy integration of suppliers and external logistics providers.

Christian Meichsner and Richard Arnold, who are committed to ensuring a stable orbit for PLANET-ROCKLOG in the logistics universe, combine no less than 30 years of experience in logistics and IT. CeMAT 2016 in Hannover is the ideal launchpad for this ambitious project, as it offers logistics experts the world over the opportunity to see for themselves the benefits of cloud-based software for warehouse management.

Meichsner and Arnold focused on three key criteria when developing their system – it shouldn’t need expensive additional infrastructure, costs should be minimized, and, last but not least, it should also be fun, thus making PLANET-ROCKLOG a popular logistics choice worldwide. “We think globally, and our pricing reflects this,” say the creators, who offer what they describe as superfast warehouse management software from the cloud, meeting all the requirements for BYOD, from just €3.00 a day. What’s more, all that PLANET-ROCKLOG requires is a 3G network, in which the necessary speed and stability are ensured by the system architecture. Highlights of the system include the central Sunburst element, which acts like a compass in all processes. Sunburst maps the complete storage system, so that the correct stock or storage location can be found quickly and easily without any use of tables.
