At 2.30 p.m. on 27 April, STILL GmbH's head of international corporate communications, Matthias Klug, will be talking about the importance of Industry 4.0 for logistics in his presentation entitled "Into the box, out of the box. Industry 4.0". Intralogistics will be a particular focal point, with Klug introducing the STILL iGo neo CX 20 for order-picking applications. The world's first autonomous industrial truck that can follow its operator through the warehouse will offer an unprecedented level of process reliability and efficiency in intralogistics.
The STILL iGo neo will combine efficiency increases of up to 30 percent with enhanced occupational safety and ergonomics. Klug will use practical examples to show how the interactive interplay of man and machine is boosting efficiency at Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG and the Penny supermarket chain thanks to autonomous operation. He will also touch on intelligent bins for C-parts management, because Würth uses bins that can trigger follow-up orders using RFID technology. Klug will round off his presentation with a look at concept studies on lean logistics and the technological possibilities of intralogistics.
