Reflecting rapidly changing market trends and adapting structures accordingly is part and parcel of showcasing products. That's why Deutsche Messe AG decided to host CeMAT 2018 alongside HANNOVER MESSE under the banner "Logistics 4.0 meets Industry 4.0". Besides proving highly popular with visitors, this decision was also welcomed by exhibitors with products anchored in both worlds - and Hänel was no exception. This specialist for office and industrial storage systems seized the perfect opportunity at CeMAT 2018 to present a whole host of intelligent intralogistics solutions.

The Hänel stand focused on six main topics, including the company's wide-ranging expertise in controller technology, the smart integration of Hänel storage lift systems in networks across the globe, innovative order picking with the new MP 14 N controller, and the Hänel Rotomat's digital picking display. When combined with HänelSoft warehouse management software and Hänel PictureControl - a built-in camera in the Hänel Lean-Lift storage system - the MP 14 N controller offers a cutting-edge concept for productive visual work.

In a similar vein, Hänel also demonstrated how its Lean-Lift systems can be operated with the help of augmented reality. The SOAP interface in Hänel controllers, for example, enables users wearing augmented reality glasses to control Hänel storage systems via SAP and thus work extremely effectively.
