Finnish finish

Visitors to CeMAT 2016 in Hannover can find out how Rocla Oy from Finland is committed to increasing its customers' material handling efficiency by up to 20 percent with its new LogIQ route optimizer.

25 May. 2016

Rocla Oy, the international specialist in electrically powered warehouse and counterbalanced forklifts and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), is traveling to CeMAT 2016 from the far north of Europe to present its latest software innovation – the Rocla LogIQ route optimizer. With this patent-pending automation solution, Rocla Oy is looking to optimize the routes used by the AGVs at its customers' facilities so effectively that material handling efficiency can be increased by up to 20 percent, thanks to a continuously smooth and uninterrupted flow of traffic.

Rocla LogIQ software is designed to find the fastest routes for each AGV dynamically. This eliminates the need for all manual traffic rules and makes traffic jams a thing of the past. Rocla Oy is proud of the software’s revolutionary ability to make spontaneous decisions for better routes. The uninterrupted vehicle operation resulting from this means fewer AGVs being required per task. In other words, thanks to Rocla LogIQ software, AGVs do more but drive less.
