"Empack@CeMAT" will replace the previous CeMAT section "Pack" in Hall 13. Covering an area of around 10,000 square metres, it will focus on products and services connected with packaging technology as well as printing, labelling and finishing technologies. The organisers are expecting the stands within the first "Empack" and "Label&Print" 2016 in Hanover to be in great demand among exhibitors from all over the world. Important key exhibitors from the industry have already signed up, including Antalis Verpackungen, Ishida, ErgoPack, Knüppel Verpackung, Mosca, Multivac, Packsize, PFM Verpackungsmaschinen, Storopack, Schur Star Systems and TransPak.
There have already been a lot of positive comments regarding the coming "Empack@CeMAT", including this one by ErgoPack Deutschland GmbH:
"As a manufacturer of ergonomic pallet wrapping systems, we have been exhibiting at CeMAT in Hanover for many years now. The specialised visitors who attend correspond exactly to our target group – intralogistics specialists. So we make numerous new contacts every time we exhibit at the trade fair. We are delighted that Easyfairs has decided to make the "Packaging" section more prominent at CeMAT. Therefore we are hoping to be able to make contacts of an even higher quality at the 2016 trade fair."
Andreas Kimmerle, Managing Director, ErgoPack Deutschland GmbH
Another feature of the trade fair in Hall 13 is the "Packaging Art House". This installation in the area between the Art, Design and Architecture sections in the form of a futuristic giant honeycomb structure made of corrugated cardboard will provide an attractive venue for talks and discussions on the latest specialist topics. The concept behind this sustainable cardboard construct was designed by Viennese design studio Papertown working in collaboration with Easyfairs.
In the future, "Empack@CeMAT" is to be held every two years in Hall 13 as a "show-in-show" concept at CeMAT in Hanover. The background to this is a strategic partnership between Easyfairs Deutschland GmbH and Deutsche Messe AG which is planning the inclusion of Easyfairs packaging events as CeMAT guest events from 2016. The Easyfairs group has significant industry expertise that is widely recognised in specialist circles in the packaging industry. Out of all the trade fair brands in the packaging industry, Easyfairs currently has the fastest growing network in Europe – with 27 trade fairs in 10 countries, around 35,000 visitors and 2500 exhibitors. Among them, "Empack" is regarded as one of the most established Easyfairs trade fair brands and specialises in packaging technology. Exhibitors are mainly suppliers of packaging systems and machinery. «Label&Print» was launched as a trade fair brand in 2014 and focuses on printing and finishing technologies.
