When in 1917 axle manufacturer CLARK developed the first forklift for transporting materials in-house, few could have predicted just how successful this invention would become. Today, almost one hundred years later, CLARK Europe GmbH is showcasing the CLARK Compact series at CeMAT 2016. This innovative electric high- and low-lift pallet truck sees the company breaking new ground in warehouse technology, with the aim of boosting its growth in this sector. Yet the Duisburg-based company is also staying true to its roots with another new product it is exhibiting – the GTS20-33 counterbalanced forklift.
The new electric high-lift pallet truck from the CLARK Compact series can lift up to 4.8 meters with a load-bearing capacity of up to two metric tons. The load-bearing capacity of the low-lift pallet truck varies from 1.5 to 2.0 metric tons depending on the configuration and – with a top speed of up to 12 km/h – it’s also particularly nimble. Both trucks are made using standard components produced in Europe and can be customized to meet users’ individual needs – for example as a cold store version. With the GTS20-33 counterbalanced forklift, which is also new, CLARK is reaffirming its credentials as a supplier of robust trucks that offer exceptional value for money.
