tarakos GmbH is at CeMAT 2016 with the new taraVRbuilder 2016 - a software solution for visualizing and simulating intralogistics processes and a prime example of how the increasingly important link between physical and digital logistics can be used to best effect.

The new taraVRbuilder 2016 is an Industry 4.0 assistance system from Magdeburg-based tarakos GmbH that helps increase flexibility in logistics by using virtual reality and simulation to ensure planning accuracy and reliability across a range of different processes. At CeMAT 2016, it is crystal-clear that the future lies in networking, digitalization and automation - and the latest version of taraVRbuilder is fully in tune with this development. In fact, it is already the solution of choice for many leading design consultants and materials handling equipment manufacturers, and is also in use in the planning departments of industrial companies and numerous educational establishments.

On show in Hannover this year, the latest edition of the taraVRbuilder 3D software serves as a key interface between the physical and digital aspects of logistics and features improved usability and new functions to support all design and simulation processes. With this software, even non-expert users will only need a few minutes to start creating realistic floorplans of the relevant design environment and adding 3D objects with animation options. Thanks to close collaboration with leading manufacturers within the industry, the virtual representations of the objects are highly realistic right down to the smallest details – from floor conveyors and retrieval machines through to conveyor belts and rack systems. In total, the digital library contains no fewer than 500 different objects. To help users keep things organized among the variety of possibilities available, the new version of the software features a fully redesigned project tree that ensures a clear structure. Once all objects have been positioned correctly, the animation stage can begin, and all options can also be adjusted through a range of different parameters. The 2016 version builds on previous editions by adding several new animation options - for instance, there is now more flexibility to adapt the "processing station" and "loading/unloading station" in line with different tasks and requirements.
