LENNIX India is a controller that eliminates load swaying by itself. The controller ensures rapid and
safe crane handling operation, relieves the crane operator from stress and reduces the risk of collisions.
LENNIX India is used in bridge and portal cranes and may control up to three axes: Crane travel, trolley travel and one slewing gear.
LENNIX India has been designed for manual and automatic control of cranes. The controller administers obstacles in front of which the manually controlled crane stops with stabilized load. In the automatic mode, the obstacle will be circumnavigated with a sufficient distance. Thus important components of crane and equipment are protected from mechanical damage.
LENNIX India uses a high-resolution camera measuring system for exact position detection of the load handling attachment. To this end, the load handling attachment is equipped with a relatively small passive reflector that needs no voltage supply. The speed pre-set by crane operator in manual control is influenced through acceleration and deceleration operations so that resultant load swaying movements during travel and at stop are eliminated automatically. Consequently, rapid and safe positioning is possible. The system in automatic operation uses the transmitted target position for calculation of the shortest way with the associated optimum speeds for all axes in the respective sub-sector. Load swaying movement generated here is automatically eliminated in this case as well. The principle is comparable with due-time countersteering actions taken by a well-experienced crane operator. Track controller and collision avoidance to neighbouring cranes are available as extras.
