Christoph Gross founded the Supply Chain Competence Center (SCC Center) in May 2005 as a way to offer consulting services for industry, trade, logistics service providers and software companies within a partner network. The advice it dispenses centers primarily on aspects of digitization such as process analyses, determining demand, calculating return on investment and recommending appropriate IT solutions. However, the aim is always the same - to use the latest IT solutions to optimize a company's processes as it goes through its digital transformation.
The customers of the SCC Center include both SMEs and larger companies with several thousand employees that focus primarily on logistics, production, trade and services. That means Christoph and the SCC Center should be right at home in Hall 19 at CeMAT 2018 in Hannover, where they can work with the fair organizers to give out free expert advice to visitors from around the world. After all, whether digitization, Industry 4.0 or Logistics 4.0, being well informed when it comes to needs analyses and choosing and implementing new solutions is essential, if you want to lower the risk of investment decisions.
