The Autobag AB 850S is extremely easy to use and also meets the latest safety requirements of the EU Machinery Directive thanks to its ergonomic design and comprehensive sensor technology. Visitors to CeMAT 2016 will be able to see the efficiency of the new machine for themselves and discover how the AB 850S not only handles mailing bags in widths up to 550 millimeters – an industry first – but also prints them ready for dispatch using an integrated thermal transfer imprinter.
To provide optimum protection for delicate goods, APS has also enhanced its protective packaging with the AirPouch FastWrap system. In the future, users will be able to produce the patented honeycomb bubble wrap in widths of up to 800 millimeters, with one box of film containing enough material for up to 326 meters of wrap. At CeMAT 2016, APS is also presenting a cross-section of its portfolio of packaging machines and infeed, weighing and counting systems. In addition to various versions of the classic Autobag bag-on-roll solutions, other highlights in Hannover include bubble wrap films that offer protection against UV radiation and electric charge build-up.
