"We were delighted by the feedback we received," reports Philippe Warnet from JLG Germany. "Everyone who visited our stand was genuinely interested in our products - and it was a very international audience!" The success JLG enjoyed at the fair may well be thanks to the company’s decision to showcase products from its portfolio that were specifically selected for CeMAT 2018. Alongside the new 1932R scissor lift, a model designed for rental use with an operating height of 7.64 meters, the Toucan 12E Plus and 8E-L mast boom lifts also proved highly popular.
The lightweight 8E-L model of the Toucan mast boom lift is some 240 kg lighter than the 8E, weighing in at just 1,860 kg. Meanwhile, the 12E Plus really is a "Plus" model, supporting an operating height of up to 12.65 meters. JLG also reported a high level of interest from CeMAT 2018 visitors in the new X13J Plus crawler boom lift. With an operating height of 13.30 meters, this model is particularly suitable for maintenance work. In addition to a range of low-level access platforms, JLG also presented a new case study on a PowerPicker for low operating heights, ideal for both maintenance work and multi-purpose lifting in warehouse and order picking applications. With an operating height of 4.38 meters and a shelf that supports up to 70 kg, the PowerPicker is designed to be exceptionally versatile.
