Founded in 1971 in the Centre-Val de Loire region, ACIMEX was mainly active in France in its early days. Projects have become increasingly international over time, though, and exports now account for some 70 percent of sales. That makes conquering new markets important to the company, and where better to demonstrate this than at a leading international trade show such as CeMAT?
It comes as no surprise, then, that ACIMEX is bringing a whole host of exhibits on its first ever visit to Hannover. The wide-ranging product portfolio on show at the French Pavilion in Hall 26 includes vacuum lifters for the aircraft industry, which the French company has been developing for over 30 years, vacuum lifters for handling large sheets of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze and lead, vacuum pipe lifters for moving and turning pipes, and lifting grabs that are used on handling equipment for heavy concrete loads such as segments and tetrapods.
