Minister-President Weil opens CeMAT

Acting Minister-President for Lower Saxony and former Mayor of Hanover Stephan Weil (SPD) will be opening CeMAT this year.

Lower Saxony’s Minister-President Stephan Weil will be opening CeMAT this year.

The Tuesday of the trade fair, 31 May 2016, will begin at 9.15 with the traditional opening tour by the Minister-Present and the visit to selected companies from each of the five CeMAT exhibition areas. The starting point of the one-and-a-half-hour tour is the lounge at the Robotation Academy. Weil will then hold his official opening address at the forum in hall 25 at 11 o’clock.

A keynote speech by trade fair boss Dr. Andreas Gruchow will then be followed by the CeMAT business talk. Here, Dr. Christoph Beumer, Chairman of the Managing Board of the Beumer Group, and Marc-Stephan Heinsen, Director for Supply Chain Management & Logistics at trade firm Tchibo, among others, will be holding discussions with moderation by Prof. Dr. Thomas Wimmer, the Chairman of the Executive Board of BVL International. The official opening event will end at around 12 noon.
