CeMAT ASIA gets underway on 1 November at Shanghai’s SNIEC exhibition center. With 480 confirmed exhibitors and a total display area of around 50,000 square meters (over 538,000 sq.ft.), the event is Asia’s biggest and most influential intralogistics trade show. Intralogistics technology companies from around the world go to CeMAT ASIA to showcase the latest products and solutions for intelligent supply chains. Highlights at this year’s show include Industry 4.0 technologies and self-guided shuttle and robotics solutions for streamlining intralogistics processes.

"CeMAT ASIA is the number one trade show for the international intralogistics industry in the Asia region. We have systematically enhanced and expanded it over the years and now co-stage it with a number of allied shows to create Asia’s leading industrial technology showcase. This year’s CeMAT ASIA will once again feature all the latest – and best – technologies for the supply chains of the future."

Marc Siemering, Deutsche Messe Senior Vice President

China is a very exciting market for international intralogistics providers. Last year, Germany alone exported intralogistics products worth 736.4 million euros to China – up 5 percent on 2014. China itself is also a major exporter of intralogistics solutions. In 2014, its intralogistics industry notched up around 10.5 billion euros in global sales.

For these reasons, CeMAT ASIA is an absolute must for the world’s leading suppliers of intralogistics systems. Big-name companies, such as Daifuku, Dematic, Egemin, Kardex, Swisslog, TGW and Vanderlande, have been represented at CeMAT ASIA for many years. Last year’s show attracted over 70,000 industry professionals, some 82 percent of whom have key input into their companies’ capital investment decisions. About 60 percent of these visitors indicated they were there with the firm intention of making capital investments, while 50 percent said they were investigating new products and technologies.

Visitors to this year’s show can once again look forward to a highly informative and diverse program of supporting events, featuring many exciting examples of current best practice. One of the big event highlights is the lecture series at the Innovation Salon, which will have "Industry 4.0" and "Made in China 2025" as its keynote themes. The series is testimony to China’s drive to boost quality and innovation by integrating information technology and industrial processes.

First held in 2000, CeMAT ASIA has gone from strength to strength and is now the Asia region’s leading trade fair for intralogistics. Every year, it provides exporters of intralogistics technology with a highly professional marketing and business development platform that is further enhanced by major synergies with three co-staged events: PTC ASIA (power transmission and control technology), ComVac ASIA (compressed air and vacuum technology) and Industrial Supply ASIA (industrial subcontracting and lightweight solutions).
