STILL GmbH, the specialist in customized in-house logistics solutions, is appearing at CeMAT 2016 in Hannover under the super-lean motto "Simply Smart". The company is proving this principle with a range of industrial truck, warehouse and material-flow innovations at the open-air zone in Pavilion 35. The star of the show is STILL’s LiftRunner tugger train, which clearly reflects the added expertise in process-oriented material flow concepts and automated solutions that it gained with the acquisition of LR Intralogistik GmbH last year.
Each STILL LiftRunner tugger train consists of a tow tractor that can be combined flexibly with various train elements, such as the trailers that accommodate trolleys and stay attached to the tugger train, the LiftRunner B-, E- and C-frames, and the trolleys for carrying all kinds of containers or products. Depending on the direction of coupling and the frame type being used, trolleys can be pushed into and secured in the STILL LiftRunner frames from the right, left or both sides, which means there’s no need to repeatedly uncouple and re-couple the frames. The trolleys are also automatically lifted up when the driver gets into the tow tractor, which protects their particularly easy-running polyamide castors and reduces traveling noise. The frames automatically lower the trolleys back to floor level when the driver alights, ensuring they can be removed without anyone having to strain their back.
