With the Logistics IT platform, CeBIT joined with CeMAT to offer you a new way to learn about current software solutions and systems.
A total of 15 well-known providers of logistics IT solutions and five media partners were showcased at a joint pavilion in Hall 5. Its close proximity to the Auto ID / RFID topic gave visitors a comprehensive view of IT solutions in logistics. Many ERP exhibitors also displayed software products for the logistics field at their stands in halls 5 and 6.
In the related Logistics IT expert forum, there were fascinating lectures and discussions from Tuesday through Friday, covering logistics for pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and retail as well as cloud computing and urban solutions in logistics, and mobile logistics applications for inventory. On Tuesday morning, a panel discussion on logistics IT challenges and trends opened the forum, whose content was designed by Dortmund-based Fraunhofer IML and media partners such as CHE Manager, MM Logistik and f+h fördern und heben.
The Logistics IT line-up has include an Expert Forum focusing on ground-breaking logistics software, as well as on IT integration from a logistics standpoint. The program has feature fascinating lectures and discussions about the challenges of integration and the new possibilities offered by flexible, on-demand logistics IT.
